A presentation describing the art of quilting in a different culture.
In 2008 I was invited to judge, teach and lecture in Gramado, Brazil, at the 11th Brazilian Quilting and Patchwork Festival. While there I met some of the most wonderful quilters doing just what we do in the States. There are significant differences, of course, which are extremely interesting. But, while I focus on differences, my Brazilian adventure reinforces my belief that quilting has universal appeal in any culture.
