The wall hanging consists of an artful array of three- dimensional lilacs and forsythia, the lilacs are appliquéd to a pre-quilted background while the forsythia area attached to branches which are sewn in and among the lilac clusters. These unique fabric-sculpture flowers are appliquéd in place on variable-width stems, each with dimensional leaves which add realism and depth to the piece.
